Being a servant is a major theme in the Bible. These Bible verses about serving others will help you to develop a servant's heart towards God and towards others.
We cannot live a fulfilling Christian life without embracing the attitude of being a servant. We must follow the example of Jesus as followers of Him. He is the ultimate example of being a servant.

As you can see, being a servant is a big theme in the scriptures. However it is not a drudgery. There are great benefits to serving God and serving others. One is the sheer joy found in hearing the still small voice in your heart saying "Well done, good and faithful servant."
