All of us are tired of striving and having to always be at odds with with life in some way. I have found that the greatest way to have peace is to let my heart and life be ruled by the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ.
He is the ultimate author of these Bible verses about peace.
6 Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. 7 Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.
8 And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.
3 You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you!
9 God blesses those who work for peace, for they will be called the children of God.
18 And those who are peacemakers will plant seeds of peace and reap a harvest of righteousness.
18 Do all that you can to live in peace with everyone.
A Call to Listen to God
14 Work at living in peace with everyone, and work at living a holy life, for those who are not holy will not see the Lord.
36 This is the message of Good News for the people of Israel—that there is peace with God through Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all.
Faith Brings Joy
1 Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us.
15 It doesn’t matter whether we have been circumcised or not. What counts is whether we have been transformed into a new creation. 16 May God’s peace and mercy be upon all who live by this principle; they are the new people of God.
I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.
For the Kingdom of God is not a matter of what we eat or drink, but of living a life of goodness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

6 For a child is born to us,
a son is given to us.
The government will rest on his shoulders.
And he will be called:
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Jesus Christ is the Prince of peace. You can live in peace with all men, and you can even try to be at peace in your own heart but if you do not know the Prince of peace in a personal way it is all for nothing.
Jesus Himself said that He was the only way to God. He stands at the door of your heart and is knocking, waiting for you to invite Him in so that you can have true peace in your heart and with God.
I would like to encourage you that if you have never sincerely asked Jesus to come and live on the inside of you that you would do so now. I did so 33 years ago and although life has not always been easy for me, I have never been alone, never forsaken, and always loved.
If you would like to find peace with God then I recommend that you go to Peace With God and learn how you too can have the peace of God that is beyond understanding.
If you are dealing with an issue where you are at odds with someone. I would like to encourage you to go and make the first step to obtaining peace with that person even if it takes eating a slice of humble pie.
God rewards the peacemakers and He will reward you.
