The key to walking daily in the Spirit is to trust God with all of our hearts and lean not on our own understanding.
Every day we must trust what we are hearing from the Lord through His Word and through the promptings of the Holy Spirit. When we act in faith upon His Word and His guidance, God will work through us both to will and to do of His good pleasure.
For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.
A good example of this is when I started my first website.
I didn’t know anything about building a website, getting people to come to a website, or the first thing about making it work with mobile devices. I was not even a very good writer from a technical standpoint. (I still make grammar errors)
However I knew that God was speaking to me to start publishing what was on my heart.
3 years later, I see the hand of God in what I then heard.
Thousands of people have come to Christ because I was willing to trust in the Lord and not lean to my own understanding.
I am now ministering in the heart of Silicon Valley.
Father knew best.
God’s Word is and in my personal life was proven.
He was and is worth putting my trust in Him. God’s ways are higher than ours. Therefore, we must trust him and lean not to our own understanding.
To help you learn how to walk in the Spirit I took a quick look in my study Bible for some scriptures. Here are some verses for you to meditate upon.
Walk In The Spirit Scriptures
If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
[ Walking in the Spirit ] I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.
[ Free from Indwelling Sin ] There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
